We are so incredibly blessed to share that two of our four therapy horses are now sponsored!
A very special thank you to Sweet Erin for faithfully sponsoring our little Eli. Your generosity helps keep Eli healthy, happy, and ready to serve the many hearts he ministers to each week.
We are also beyond grateful to TopCat, our local horse friend, for sharing his wonderful human with Sevin. Your support means more than you know and helps ensure Sevin can continue doing the important work he was created for.
Having our horses sponsored makes such a tremendous difference. It allows us to direct more funds toward sessions so we can reach as many clients as possible — offering hope, healing, and encouragement at little to no cost to families in need. That is a gift that multiplies far beyond the barn.
We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Arrows of Light for coming out to the ranch for our recent community engagement event. What a beautiful day it was — filled with learning stations, horses, kiddos, laughter, and connection. It was a true reflection of what makes this ranch so special.

Off the Hoof with Zeke
As the old-timer around Runnin’ Free Ranch, I’ve had plenty of years to watch people and horses alike. And what I notice most these days is how many of the folks who come to spend time with me carry stories that have tossed them around more than a few times.
Their hearts arrive a little bruised, a little unsure, and often wondering if there’s still a safe place for them in this world. That’s where the Lord lets me do the work He’s shaped me for. I may not run like I used to, and I don’t have many fancy tricks left, but I still have something worth offering: a steady, quiet presence.
When someone rests a hand on my neck or leans into my shoulder, I stand firm and let them feel what I’ve learned over a long life—there is safety here. There is room to breathe again. There is a place where God’s love settles in soft and sure, like morning light warming the pasture.
I don’t speak in words, but in stillness.
And somehow, in that quiet, people begin to sense that they are seen, accepted, and deeply loved—not just by me, but by the One who created us both. They remember that God is near, and that His presence is a refuge no matter what storms they’ve weathered. If an old horse like me can help someone feel that truth again, then I reckon I’m still right where I’m meant to be.
